Little storry.
Our airfield A4 is capped from numerous enemys, full vulch going. I try to up and get vulched.
Ok, so me an some other knights up of a difrent airfield and swoop in to break the cap and drive the fighters away, we make it since most are gone landing their vulches and came back in bombers.
Between the two fields 2 enemy fighters get engaged by 4 from us, both die... the last one against 4 to one odds, since his buddy was going down faster.
Now that guy complains how it was easy to kill him 4 on 1. But 10 minutes before, when he was vulching the capped field, it was not easy capping a field with 6 fighters? No... that is hard work i beleave.

It's a blatant case of "fight my way or else ..."

There is no such thing as an "unfair" vultch.

Been there. Gotten vulched. Upped somewhere else. Busted CAP. Got vulched landing by a sole enemy that had broken through defense.... (the exact one complaining about being gang-banged later).
I guess the old saying is still true:
Nothings fair in love and AH.
See yas all up . ;)

I'll be honest... I've vulched and I've ganged. I really think it makes me a better person, because I feel good about it. Thats what great about FPS games... kill um' all and when you die, respawn and kill um all again.
If you whine about it, you are just upset because you aren't l33t enough to take on more than one guy, or you aren't smart enough to get out of Dodge when you have the kills you want.
If you have 7 kills, and you like the way that feels, you better go land um because you may not have another chance :aok

everyfight seems to end with one side capping the others bases or killing the hangars..vulching is inevitable anymore..at least I auger out of shame after a few vulches :P

Or out of frustration of me stealing all your kills.

I love to vulch. And gangbang. And headon. And steal kills. And make others killshooter on me. And not give Check 6s just because.
Why? Because, by God, I love it!

Whats fun is when you have the enemy capping the field.
When I was in the Nomads and we were still together in AH before breaking up, there was about 5 us on and we upped from a capped field. 2 of us got vulched, however me and 2 others were able to get up and try to get the enemy away from the base. As my other squaddies were being shot down I was able to 6 kills before leaving the battle because I was by myself and they were still coming because the killed the fhs. Then I saw a flight of 17s as I was heading home and about 1 sector away from the fight. So I decided to go after them with what little ammo I had left (about 1000 rounds left in my 50 cals in my 38), however I get pilot wounded after downing 2 more. I tried to land on a cv, but I blacked out as I was landing and crashed.
But I think I made my point that some people vulching are complete morons and dont know how to keep planes from upping as I said before by shooting down 6 before leaving.

There's no 'fair vulch', and there are very few fair fights (If you're fighting me, you've already got an advantage. I've fought me plenty of times, and I won, so me sucks.). However, I, like Howi, have done those same things (we're in the same squad, so that should go without saying). As the Devi... Leviathn said, all those things are fun. Fun fun fun fun fun. However, while doing those things is fun, being the one to which such things are done, is not. Chasing the people who have done such things to you, with a numerical advantage, or not, is also fun. Shooting them as they run, or attempt to, is even more fun. It must be, as it's driven me to the very edge of sanity when it's been done to me.
Moral of the story:
C'mon, there is no moral, this a bbs thread.

But there is such a thing as a fair vulch.
A "fair" vulch is when you swoop in on the runway, lay a few rounds into the would be riser and and a buddy finishes him off but you get the kill.
A Great vulch is when you swoop in on the runway to find a bomber formation rising and you kill all three of the in a single pass! :D

Nope, a great vulch is when you use one egg on 6 fighters spawning the runway end at the same time then use the other egg on three more doing the same thing :D.
The best vulch was in another game where you'd take a vader to the enemy field, knock down the ack and park on a 45 deg angle from the end of the runway and pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop. They'd finally figure it out so you'd take off and dogfight fight em as they tried to follow you home. We always told people not to take off from a capped field but hey, it's a game. If you wanna take the chance on upping from a capped field you're fair game. If you stay there long enough to get capped from other fields then you, too, are fair game. :)

Some of you guys are Funny mo fo'z! lmao :p. Put some of these post in a book, it would be funny as hell! lol :rofl

LOL! Funny thing about the vader. While you headed to the field you'd hold the trigger finger down. If you fired off around 1000 rounds to lighten her up it'd really turn sweet!

Ahh, my favorite subject of late. I just cant resist a vulched field. I happily look for it to happen. the more the vultures the better. Score be Darned!
I love to up repeatidly until you make the mistake. Try and fly down the nose of a lifting Hurri. The joy is when a guy has vulched you 10 times, thinks he is going to land a great number of kills to pound his chest to say "look Im great!!" only to die from a head on as his greed takes over. Then the whine comes in on 200, HO TARD!! Oh I love that!
Before you know it all the planes are dead and there you are waiting for them to come back, now all you countrymen start upping when its safe. Doesnt always work out that way but is sweet when it does.
