My daugter is staying with me... I come home from work and she is watching MTV.. the show is "next"
The premise is that a person gets a chance to date like 5 other people waiting in the wings and if he or she doesn't like em... just says "next" and they have to leave and the next one comes out and fawns over em.
This scrawny ***** puts on gloves and steps into the ring at Golds and makes the wimpiest guys I have ever seen get in the ring with her to prove they are "worthy"
Of course they have no idea (other than video games) how to fight and... they don't want to hit a girl/spoil their chances/be seen on tv beating up a girl so she hauls off and really roundhouses a couple of em and then says "next" she calls em babies and ***** as they leave.
I have never hit a woman and would probly decline but... If I were to get in the ring with her I would say..
Two short left jabs and if you are still up... a hard right.. you can fall down and stay down at any time. I would advise you do so now and spare yourself some anguish and plastic surgery.
I really hate this perception that women can fight men... even these spermless MTV wimps coulda ripped her a new one if they woulda tried. She took advantage of the situation and MTV made it look like she won a fight.
What crap.

welcome to modern television programming ; )
it kinda sucks here, but there sometimes are some gems of idiocy we get to see
-
after watching that program.... I feel that not having seen any MTV in a decade has not been any loss.

Yea I saw this show in passing as somone else was watching it. Pretty funny being called that by a girl who just clocked you. She had a body but she was a bieatch.
-
Lazs, Im a bit younger then you.....but I recall the good ole days when MTV played music videos!
I can stand their programming, its aimed at 16-22 with all these weird shows now.
-
seriously gunslinger.... how many of your pucnhes do you think she could take before she was knocked out or seriously injured or both?
even my daughter wasn't buying it. She has seen men fight before.

Shoulda tried the clinch.

1 or maybe 2. I'd be seeing her as every girl that ever turned me down or insulted me and there'd be no saving her. Especially after she said "CMON HIT ME"
The thing looked like a set up to me. If they were seriously wanting to box they'd been wearing head gear and mouth pieces.

exactly... well except seeing that chick ask if tuna was fish or chicken, and maybe a tiny bit of the osbourns
-
wait a minute,.... this thread has evolved into a woman hitting thread, where's beet1e?
-
She was fighting for gender equality but you know that she would probably be one of the outraged hags if the roles were reversed. If it were a man making his prospective dates get in the ring with him.
Remember this? She didn't attempt to fire her rifle, and it jammed.[/i]
-
I'm a firm beliver in equal rights for women.
...and ALL that implies.
-
An american woman's idea of courtship is seeing how well the prospective man stands up to immascilating abuse. Strangely it doesn't seem so innappropriate.

the only show on MTV I watch (not regularly but just because I happen to channel surf on it) is Viva la bam.
It's a dumb show about a spoiled (now rich punk kid) but it is a somewhat entertaining spin off of *******.
as far as hitting woman goes.....I was raised on never hitting them but if she wants to step into a ring on tv and get hurt that's her deal. Was kinda funny how the guy got clocked and then called a pu55y. I guess that's the entertainment factor.
I'm too old for MTV anymore it mostly doesnt apeal to me. Even the show "pimp my ride" angers me. They'll put $45k in electronics and paint into the car but keep the same fluffied up motor that burns oil. what's the point of having a nice ride if it rides like crap.

i forgot about that....
it's pretty funny sometimes.
did you see them show bam's house on cribs? the bastard has a custom 2005 lambroghini, and some $100,000 mercedes
the guy is filthy rich because of that stupid show.
anyway, ok i'll fess up... i surf on TV ALOT, i dont stay on one channel during commercials, and might never come back to whatever show i was watching... so passing MTV here's what i stick around for if i see it is on:
cribs can be entertaining, if i know the celebrity they are showing.... but over 1/2 the time im like whot the F is that, and change channels. also i HATE the word "wip" and the word "bling"
viva la bam is kinda neat, though it is getting stale.
punked is hilarious sometimes, insainly stupid and un-watchable other times.
other than that, i wont watch the channel
-
From june 1. i wont get MTV anymore. My local cable company has dropped it in favor of some other channel that actually shows music videos. The only thing im gonna miss is (mabye) pimp my ride.
Thank cod its going.

So what would happen if a ex-con-lesbian dressed as a man came into the ring? She would beat the living crap out of that girl.
Plus having to convince the cops she is a woman while getting an LA style beating with clubs.
better yet throw a midget into the ring, their funny to watch.
-
I dont know Boiling Points was kind of funny in a low-budget kind of way....
-
The ******* the Movie segment "Ass kicked by a girl" was hilarious. That guy REALLY got his bellybutton handed to him. Of course, the girl was a world champion kick boxer too...

funny, but true ; P

Anyone remember Joey Butafuco beating the crap out of that wrestling chick on Celebrity boxing? She was a big as a line backer and a (cough) professional athlete and still got whipped by a fat, out of shape old man.
-
yep... and several skinny out of shape bay area disc jokeys have beaten the crap out of all comers.... so long as the challengers were women... not even a contest. Andy kaufman was so out of shape and sickly that he died at a young age but not be4fore he beat the crap (easily) out of every woman challenger.
I thought ol joey was gonna have a heart attack from the effort of getting into the ring. But he won..... easily.

Laz,
Many years ago I used to know Marion Zimmer Bradly and her brother Paul Edwin Zimmer. Scifi\Fantasy\Sword and Sorcery writers. I was good freinds with Paul and spent a bit of time at his home in Berkeley CA called GreyHaven. They had any number of young aspiring writers hanging around trying to get work published.
One in particular was a young large woman of a rather aggresive nature who wrote Sword and Sorcery fantacy short stories. The heros were always amazonian size bad arse female swords women. Her boyfreinds were always 98lb wimps. Paul introduced me to Iea Takihashi who taught Yagyu Shinkage ryu swordsmanship in San Bruno CA. I studied with him for a few years........well the young lady wanted to study also so she could write with more authority on swordsmanship. And she kept bugging Paul to introduce her to Takihashi to.
Eventually the introductions happened and I wound up crossing shinai with her during a training period. Takihashi had his students spar with only Kote for protection. Yagu ryu imployes wrist locks and throws as part of its swordsmanship. Takihashi was not happy with her for constantly trying to gain information from him to use in her stories. So he tells her to suit up and that I would show her the answers to her questions. So this was not a nice demo since she had been training with us for a few weeks. He had me bounce her off the floor, which elicited some crying and blubbering along with some statements about not thinking we were going to do anything so realistc to her..................she quit the school. Takihashi could be very extreem at times. He was in his 60's and had been a zero pilot in WW2 along with being a kendo and judo champion at different times in japan.
Well anyway, about a month later I was at Paul's house when he told me she and her boyfreind were mugged in a parking lot a few nights earlier. Seems they were in a park at a Wikken event and a drunk redneck in the parking lot was giving them crap about being witches. She tells him to shutup and shove off or she'll kick his arse. He decks her breaking her jaw, then proceeds to wipe up the parking lot with her 98 lb weaking boyfreind for not defending her.......................... .
-
Well since Im not Bleatle, I wouldnt hit the chick in the ring, but since it is tv and for everyones entertainment, I will say second she hits me and tries again shed be flat on the ground trussed like a calf.
-
i would have taken advantage of the situation to grope her to no end.
-
I hit a girl once...........
and I liked it :aok
-
I remember when they actually played music video's on MTV.
Once in a while I click on that station and all I can see is commercial's for about 20 minute's.

what did the girl look like?i would have hit her either way.

I pretty much agree. But it is the exceptions (http://www.big-boys.com/articles/beatdown.html) that make life interesting.
-
nash... they both hit like girls. wonder what that guy was on?
I have never hit a woman. I have injured them accidentaly when they wanted to play around and wrestle and such or restraining them while they were hitting me.
Still... it would have been tempting to hospitalize that woman on tv... I think that having her get seriously injured would have been a good example and I might have made the sacrafice for the good of everyone.
Funny thing is... I know men and we woulda all been upset with any man who seriously injured her in the ring. lose/lose
