Tricky and not for inexperienced users.

Search your registry and delete the old set
manually in the local machine. I had
a problem with an old game in the direct
play setup in dxdiag and only the manual
delete helps

Good luck

Assuming he means references to the old drivers or old card.  I've come to believe its a good idea to run registry cleaner after uninstalling old video card drivers and before installing new ones.  I also reinstall direct x after a driver change.

mini VDD: nv4_mini
