Title: GV safe landing spots?

Been away from here too long, seems I lost track of some stuff.

I was sitting in a Pnzr at an enemy base yesterday, and tried to "land" my pnzr on a road in the (enemy) town. Obviously didn't work.

Does this mean I have to drive all the way back to the spawnpoint, or I have to wait for the base to be captured... or is there another spot?

Wait for the base to be captured first.

Maproom is a good spot, but again, it has to be your base before you can get a good landing.

Spawn points also work as long as you didn't spawn too close to an enemy base.
(They are tough to remember exactly where )

Funny I exited on an enemy base and got a safe landing. There was no human enemy just the AI ack.


Then I exited near a friendly map room and got a ditch..

you must land the Vehicle on a concrete surface.A sidewalk,runway,,etc.

Yet, you cannot land on the road right outside a friendly town.
Any concrete surface that is actually part of a friendly field or city connected to a friendly field will work.

In some cases I've gotten a "ditch" landing inside a friendly AC hanger too. This was in AH1 lst time that happened tho.

I have gotten diches on friendly gv bases in the gv hanger while rolling. Try to stop first.

I had to log once becuse of a RL thing. I was between bases. but in Friendly territory I stopped ona road. Landed succesfully. I have done that a few times since all success

You can get a landing even very deep in enemy territory or on an enemy base. You can also land at enemy strat factories. The key is there has to be no enemy players anywhere close. I've  been in a gv in the woods fighting enemy GVs when my base was captured behind me. You can still land by driving away from the base and any enemy planes or GVs. You don't have to be on concrete, anywhere will work as long as there are no enemies around. if there are, they will get a proxy kill.
