if they do model it you had better hope they model tante Ju for you because the C47 will easily kill that butt ugly little fokker. take it to amsterdam it looks like it needs a friend.

Hey show a little respect for the most advanced fighter ever designed and built in my country!
I also detect homofobic tendencies here. Sure, all those gay parades are a bit annoying, and bumping into stoned people at every other street corner is a pain, but what a plane! We actually have a full size replica in our Air Force museum.
But of course it will never be modelled. It saw action for all of four days, most of them were destroyed on the ground and they were severly outclassed by the Me-109E. Still, it was the fastest fighter we had. The Luftwaffe had some as fighter trainers for the Bf-110.

look at the p38 or whatever dweebing out killing goons....
sounds like bug for sure.
; P
-
It looks somewhat similar to the XP-58 design. Like a mini version.
-
Hogenbor, you're actually the first Dutchmen I've seen posting on the boards for 6 years!
zou een rotstreek zijn om nu alles in 't nederlands te doen :lol
btw, ben ook in het luchtvaartmuseum geweest, die Fokker is machtig!
(go Holland!)
And yes, that Fokker would be a nice addition, but no, I don't think it will be able to compete with the other planes.
(Fokker was early war)
-
I'd fly it... :D
-
What about the other Fokker then?
That one also did OK in Finland.
-
Yes, the MA is completely devoid of fighters with skis! This
deficiency must be corrected at once! :rofl
-
This Fokker was quite okay....

Actually in the 4 days or so the dutch airforce fought the germans, they did significant damage. Dunno the exact numbers but i think the germans lost over 300 planes or so, one of the largest amounts of planes during the war in so few days.
Zal ze leren die eigenwijze Amerikanen :)
-
I readed they lost 400 aircraft in 4 days.
300 transport planes.
That was a big gap of lost transports before the battle of brittain began.
Also the dutch where the only one to recapture an airfield in the whole war.

I worked on that one :)
-
What exactly do you do?
-
I'm a mechanic, and where I used to work here in Mena, Arkansas we were one of the few Fokker approved repair stations for the F27 in the US. I've worked on many of them and a F28 (precurser to the 100). We did all the major checks on the Golden Knights F27.....wonder who is doing them now?

How about the Me 410.

It's a nice plane, but IMO that it would be another A-20, Bf-110 or Mosquito
