Title: cutting sections of videos, and freeware software recomendations?

Just looking for some software to cut and paste parts of a larger film into a smaller one.

VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/)

It won't handle mpeg2 files, but there's a modified version that does (search for virtualdub mpeg2 or virtualdubmod if you need them)

Thanks Nashwan, looks like Vdub fits the bill.

JB73, still running 98SE so no go on movie maker ;)
