Title: HTC Trinity pilot wound
Post by: LYNX on May 25, 2005, 06:43:19 AM
HTC  please check the settings in Trinity.  I and a couple of others are experiencing alot more "Pilot Wounds".  It's most common attacking ack but even dogfights, there's an increase.

p38's and to a lesser extent p47 only have to sniff acks and bammo wounded.  I even got a pilot wound in a (400mph) LA7 ack straffing.

Also I'm loosing B24's to CV ack.  I normally bomb cv's from 8,000 or higher.  In other terrains i would expect fuel or oil hits on 1 or 2 of my planes, at worst.  Now I'm having planes attomised by the puffy.  This has ONLY happened in Trinity.

Have the settings changed ?  Did you "Post" settings changed ?  Are these settings going to be standard in all terrains ?

Wow!  Getting wounded in a combat simulator!

War is Hell!

I understand the settings have been turned up for pilot wound for anyone flying an LA7 or N1K2.  Sort of a punishment!

:D

There is no setting that could effect pilot wounds or kills. Also there is no way the terrain can effect it.

And we have not made any setting changes.

note to new pilots:

always turn your cockpit away from the gunfire

and flatten your profile  :D

Mane is right, we need a way to duck  =)

I believe that Dedalos may have had a few bad luck runs, but for the other guy who was "straffing" at 400mph in an la7, you sir deserve a pilot wound  :p

Thanks HTC thats all I needed to know.  I'll just have to stop being so cocky when taking bases.:D

As for some of the other responses I doubt if half of you actually use Aces High:rolleyes: .  As for the other half that might turn in once or twice a month you should really know better.

Perhaps on tomorrows lunch brake guys, you can actually add somthing positive to the thread.  Although in my oppinion HTC has said it all.

Man, Dale's been busy! Guess the skuzzter was off approving skins yesterday.

Regarding the subject, PWs seem to come in spurts for me too (pun not intended). I'll get a couple one night then go a week without one. Just the way the randomizer code works I guess...LOL (JK).

Wow he's good.  He got both Dedalos and myself within the same minute.  I think you have been doing this too long Dale, you are really getting fast :D

Any change in your opinion LYNX in the frequency of pilot wounds since the map changed?

Dispite what HT or you guys think, most of it was meant to be funny.  And yes, it does look like a flame, but it was meant to be flame-funny?  lol
