The first of many....
...and it isn't surprising. The election results are a statistical tie, and both parties know it. Who would win this election depended on political manuvering in the end game, and who could nail it down first. Bush nailed it. Gore appears to prefer internecine
warfare to a consession of defeat for the good of the country and his party. Hopefully his party bosses will not let him go too far down this road...
