i made this one lighter one theweathering, tell me if its still too much.

I don't get it.

Weathering a plane helps it look good by adding "believability" to the plane, not by just making it look all dark and grimy.
The weathering, needs only to be as sufficient enough as to make the plane look more realistic - and considering that, as moot points out(rather directly), your method of 'weathering' is, to tell you the truth, a bit questionable.
For one thing, it's hard to make out any features because everything is so dark. Darkness itself has its own charm so it does look cool at a certain perspective, however, considering the quality of weathering itself, it almost feels as if the surfaces are darkened out in order to hide something.
Like once I've mentioned to JB73, try to make it look EXACTLY like the profile. And then, work your way from there.

i think the color on my moniter is messed up... cause it looks like the profile to me. im gunna play with the color cause sometimes its fine and others its black

hows this? or is it still to dark. im ordering a new moniter soon so hopfully itll fix my prob

Where is the green, the light brown, and all the other colors?
Doesn't look anything like the profile Shayne, LOL!
Get your new monitor, I've seen your old one and it is most certainly your problem. It's like a 12 inch monitor that's over 5 years old.

It still looks nothing like the profile though.
Check your graphics settings and see if the gamma levels, digital vibrance, or etc etc.. are set too high.

rgr, everything is set to default. My moniter is a peice of SH*T!! lol
ill give n update when i get a new moniter, but now that i wonder, are my other skins (109, yak, P38) too dark as well?!?!!

i am also amazed how fast you all pump out skins. LOL how do you get everything matched up so fast? it took me weeks to gte all the lines perfect LOL

im actually suprised anyone found this skin to do... it is a rather rare, not talked about skin.
getting to the final steps... will post last few shots soon

I dont know if its just me but the colors of the skin and the drawing look way different.
Not only is it too dark but the colors are actually different.
