nOObs are like electricity...... They follow the path of least resistance.
Good Luck

the trick i find most helpfull when flying the spit 5 is to get out of the way of the 190's , la7's and tiffies that seem to always try a hoe on first pass, so just make em miss with some good evasion.
and the get on thier tail, but then dont let yourself get cuaght in a rope because that is almost always the next move after a hoe attempt fails.
keep your head up, youll learn....the hard way:aok

get the feeling???
LMAO i KNOW i suck, i have accepted it, and moved on LOL

My advice, stick with the Spit 5 till you can survive in it. Work on getting 1 kill, then RTB. Then 2 kills, etc.
Especially work on Situational awareness.
Be aware of that fast plane thats 3k out.
Learn to scan every 5 - 10 seconds in a furball without losing track of your target.
Learn where all the edges are, how to split S away from a fast plane. Then how to do it so he trys to come after you. Costing him E,
and setting him up for the kill.
This is not something you can master in a week, or a month, or a year. Many of the pilots here have 8 - 15 years of online experience. Flying weekly to daily in all kinds of situtations.
It takes time to crawl up to that level.
If you must fly a faster plane, try the Yak9U.

Wait til the spitV gets a more "representative" engine and doesn't hover steadily until 48mph then accelerates to 180mph after 1.5 seconds of nose down after the 48mph. THEN master it :)
My opinion is that you shouldn't master 1 plane. Bad idea. The planes are all inaccurate in some way or another. If you depend on the SpitV (for example) being able to climb like a helo then it gets fixed/changed you're SOL. So learn how to do the moves in a spit, but also do them in a zero. Also do them in a hurc2. Also do them in a fill-in-the-blanks. Spit's a good plane to "learn" in, but don't become overly reliant in it.
Also, don't give up the idea of flying different spits. Take a spitV, then take a SpitIX. You'll find it zooms and climbs better, and has marginally better top speed (and marginally worse turn radius). Then try a SpitXIV (if you got the perks). Then a Spit1 (I'm not kidding! It flies differently but still can get kills).
And then if you get tired of the runners, get into a fast plane, and learn it!
Like Devil said, you'll learn. Just don't limit your learning. Try some BNZ and note how/when you die/almostdie, then when you're in the turn fighter pull that move on your BNZ friend.
Lots of ways to do it, my opinion's but one of many.

Also, realize that you will not be good/great/your best every single day!
you will have high points and low points and even slumps that last a week or more at times. Knowing things of this nature will happen at times, will help you stay with the game longer and not give up too early.
"Train Like You Fight, Fight Like You Train"
says it all in a nutshell!

Good suggestion IMHO.
Once you have gotten tot he point where your "OK" and get a basic knowledge of some ACMs try flying other planes and make mental or written notes as to what you can do in them. What they can and cant do well.
This will help you when your going up against them in your plane of choice. You will learn how to exploit these planes weaknesses and sometimes even find ways to exploit their strengths to your advantage.
And dont ever get too full of yourself cause just when you reach the point where you think your really good at this game. Someones gonna come along and slap that ego back down to earth right quick and in a hurry LOL

Actually Janik's a great stick in the more bnz type planes ..
your just not used to the agressiveness of the spit 5 and getting into the timing of getting the darn thing outta the way quick enough . .. Dont feel bad, everyone gets bounced in those big furballs ...

Not me, I know Im good, so when I get shot down, it's not my fault :)

the great thing about spit 5 is the awsome manovers you can pull and still have E to fight back...

what basis is the suck compared to? If everyone in ma practiced against better pilots for a few minutes a day they would easily be somewhat better. I think most people attain a level they feel comfortable with and than plateau. I can fight most in the ma and win more often than not, or I can fight the squad in da and get worked like a rib. Again im pretty comfortable with where Im at but my weaknesses become glaring against the "elite" sticks. I am always trying to become better however, even if for only a few minutes a day in the da.
