Talk about worthless. Logged onto game Sunday night and didn't bother to play. 30-40% packett loss at ChicagoEquinix another branch of Savvis. With the latency and the game becoming unavailable at times because of the connection I wonder if it's worth the aggrevation of keeping the game. I love the game but in the last 8 or so months it has truly become aggrevating to try to play with Lag...CTD's and such.
I know Skuzzy is doing all he can....to bad we can't get some companies on the net to be more responsible for their service.
When I first got roadrunner premium I was pinging in the 30s' over 14 hops to the server....now it's a miracle if I can get through Savvis Chicago and Savvis StLouis to the server without 30% packett loss and pings less then 150.

May be time to check into a different ISP hajo.
I was having similar problems 6 months ago. Ended up switching my DSL provider.
Went from 150 ms & scattered packet loss. Routing that went from Fargo ND, to Maryland, then KC, then Denver, then SF, back to denver, then to HTC.
Different isp, went to 40-45 ms, no packet loss, straight hops right down to HTC. Same basic provider (qwest) but different isp's, different routing, total different result.
Best is of course someone in same area with similar service though a diff company.
Get them to ping HTC for you.

I connect at T1.5 and savvis is the problem, rendering the gameplay unusable alot.
I have got used to just loging out of the game , and finding something else to do instead playing AcesHigh.
It's not worth the grief of dealing with the level of savvis induced problems, for the return amount of recreation and fun AcesHigh provides . Savvis is screwing my game up most of the time lately . Instead of having a problem once in a while with savvis , it's now turned around and having good game play in AcesHigh is only once in a while . Untill Savvis rears it's worthless ugly head.

Still have to go through Savvis before server in StLouis.
Have RoadRunner and it's performing up to expectations.
No matter who my ISP is I'll still have to deal with Savvis in StLouis.

I was under the impression that there is always more than one way to connect to somewhere. Can the connections be routed around anything Savis?

most likely but you don't control route paths the routers do. So unless that connection goes down you will go that way.
