He was the only white person that I really truly liked.

They hung out a while, talked music, how-to playing... said Darell offered him a signature "Dimebag" guitar if he'd just send him a letter and address later; said he had a garage full of them.

My son was pretty impressed with how kind and friendly the guy was.

Never really heard anything bad about him, so RIP.
