whats different between the 2?

sorry i know almost nothing about jap planes form WWII

like german planes... they all look the same to me.. ;)

The difference.. one is of the 73rd Sentari and the other of the 10th Rensei Hikotai (Advanced Training Unit)...

I wouldn't submit both.  If it were me, I'd pick my favorite and submit it.  As JB "said", its kind of hard to determine the difference.  If you submit both, then that gives two spots very similar planes.  If you submit one, that leaves one more spot open for a completely different and unique skin.

But, they both do look great!  I love the metal effect you've got there.

Don't fret yet. I see many P-51 bare metal skins which the only difference is a nose spinner color or etc. No reason why not both cannot be submitted.


 As for the bare metal look, I really admire it. I'd love to use the base coloring you've done for your Ki84s for my Ki84 skin. I've recently cleaned it up and resent it to HTC, but it still doesn't look as good as yours.


(I know I know.. 'you show me yours, and I'll show you mine'. I'll be sure to up Ki84 templates on the Ah-skins site. I've been really busy last few weeks.. and I couldn't get any of the requests done!)

Yeah lets trade things.

Ive been eyeballing the blue arrow ki84 as well.

Lets use your planelines, your markings and my metal.

Hmm what we could do is try to see if its possible to make a "joint venture submision"... you know "by Kweassa & TexMurph"..

And yeah your right... there are alot of similar skins... and its not like the Ki84 is a skin crowded plane... we got what 3 skins in 6 months?

I think they look great Tex, and I also agree with Kweesa's statement. There's quite a few planes that the only change is a spinner color here, a number there, or in some cases just an aircraft number and noseart.

The Ki-84 is pretty underrepresented, so I'd say stick with both. =)


BTW, good job =) Glad to see it came out.
