The Flying Zoo had a full roster of 32 before AH2. Now we have 22. Ten have cancelled their accounts.
Four months ago there was hardley a night with less than 10 in the squad online. Now we're lucky to have anybody on.
So what happened? I know I've been contemplating canceling my subscription but I dont' think I can go cold turkey.
I wish I could poll the Zoo who've left to see what their lack of motivation was. If any of the absent Zoo are lurkers, maybe they can provide some insight.
For myself, I'm tired of archade game play. The more historical (ish) the play is the more I enjoy it. I'm tired of boxes of buffs carpet bombing 500 feet off the carpet. I worry that pandering to archade gaming is a short-term boom and a long-term bust. The numbers are down, but the kind of players we used to have has changed too.
On the other hand, HTC should be congratulated for sustaining a PC game longer than almost anyone.
