Lately I have been trying out the 110 a bit.

It seems to lend itself to the HO.

And it seems more and more that is how people attack you.  Almost every merge you get shot at.  I avoid most HO's but every now and then I take a hit. Lost a couple of planes last month to HO's when I tried to avoid them.  I fought a 190A5 in my C205, he had alt, and every pass he tried to HO me.  After about a dozen bnzs on me he got my main fuel.  By then the cavalry had arrived, and he died a dweebs death.  I landed a my base dead stick.

I must have made about 12 kills with the 110 so far, and most have been 11-1 deflection shots or straight HOs.

If you can't beat the dweebs, then join them.  I have succumbed to the dark side of the force.

I even started doing some HO's with the 205 and the P47

I will never HO...except in a 110. That's the one plane that I will not bother dodging a HO and doing ACM's if the other guy is willing to go nose to nose with me. So I say have at it!


Oh, and IL2, NIK, A8 and a few others also falls into the "I dare ya to HO me" catagory.
