Title: late night population?
Post by: crashnburn on June 03, 2005, 01:45:31 PM: i was going to sign up for warbirds but read somewhere that there are very few people flying late at night. i also read that the number of flyers listed on their site include AI so the number is misleading. if i were to join ah, how many people can i expect to find online from say 12-8 am eastern? i don't want to pay to join a multiplayer game and be the only one on.

150-300 depending on the night of the week, and what is going on in the arena

Post by: StarOfAfrica2 on June 03, 2005, 02:04:03 PM: My most usual 2 hours the wife allows during the week is from 2am-4am Eastern time. Usually between 150 and 250 people online in that time on a weekday. Go 3 or 4 hours earlier, could be anywhere from 350-550 people online.

If you take the pain on your legs from sitting and playing Aces High nonstop, multiply that by 6, and subtract by 3, you will get the number of hours you have been playing.

Now, take in account all the leg pains in the world at any given night, and divide that by 1. The quotient will give you a very accurate number for the amount of people playing Aces High at the time.

Seems most of my squadmates (Wings of Terror) are Central or West coast, so I can usually link up with them.

AI in the public arena... how sad, that should tell you something right there. There was no AI when I was on Warbirds, they must be bingo fuel and spiraling to earth :lol
