The Xcom series up to and including Apocalypse are some of my all time favourite PC games. I just couldn't get into Aftermath, which I would class alongside MOO3 as the biggest strategy game let-down of recent years. Aftershock will have to be as much of an improvement over Aftermath as SH3 was over SH2 to get me back into the franchise.

Aftermath wasn't great, I'll give you that. In aftershock, you'll apprently be able to enter buildings again (like in the old Xcom series). I will get it, I'm just too much of an Xcom fan to pass it...

Suave, no idea... I just got it in a shop here.

XCOM-1 is still better by far than all its sequels.

Yes X-COM was the best, followed by Apocalypse, Terror from the deep was ok, except for how come we dont get plasma rifles and blaster cannons on land anymore? and some poor fool would always end up lugging a torpedo launcher.
