ROFLMAO :rofl

I couldn't stop laughing when reading that sentence; it brought a memory of 30years old "Freak" Fokker Dr.I model with blown tires and patches everywhere and pilot having that "spike" in top of his steel helmet.
Hell if I could find of those models in these days...

After pilots in Aces High complained about the unrealistic crashes, HiTech decided to attempt to capture the ultimate diagnosis, Superfly dives for cover as Natedog films from a distance, attempting to capture the abundance of  information for their modeling.

I'm tired, but yall get the jist..

That's a cool picture, but what I have never understood, and never will, is people, especially pilots, that think dangerous air show and risky stunts are worth it. I'd go as far as saying they aren't even entertaining.

I've been to a few air shows, and the best things I've witnessed were a lone plane coming in on a bombing run, and a pyro guy safely letting off some kickas pyro effects. In fact, at Sun N' Fun, they wore you out with it, and it was safe and pretty awesome. Very entertaining.  The other would be jets sneaking up on the crowd and lighting off afterburners. Again, all the bang for the buck, safe too.

This flying wingtip to wing tip and upside down crashing into poles, and following the leader into the ground is pretty stupid. I don’t discount the skill involved, but for what it is worth in the end, I think it’s retarded.

My God creamo, airshows are the modern day Roman Coliseum.  They are fun and exciting if they have some danger involved.

No they are not. They are supposed to thrill the crowd, and not die like slaves. Going inverted through a small course is retarded. It’s not impressive; it’s a shameful display of aeronautics and pilot discretion gone bad.

We just lost the last  Rare Bear Crew Chief on an unrelated accident. These stunts are silly at least.

The pilot made a full recovery. Very lucky and remarkable considering the extent of his injuries.
