A few of the OS's (Operations Specialists)
Have been through the Air Direction Controller and Sea Combat Air Controller courses that I teach. Can't remember offhand what their names were but I can look em up in my log.

The Uss McInerney (FFG 8) is the only surface ship I went to sea on.  I did a LAMPS Training Team on it (1988) when I worked for Analysis & Technology.  Im surprised she is still in commission.
