Title: anyone know a good medicine to unclog ears?

for the last 2 days i have had clogged ears, like being up in a plane or whatever, and i can find no logical reason.

i'm looking for a medicine or something to clear them and see if ti goes away.


anyone know anything?

Try some "Swimmer`s Ear". Usualy can be found at the local drugstore.

Allergies giving your sinuses garbage?  Nothing major going around locally, so I'd say get some Sudafed Sinus or something similar.  If you don't clear your nose, your ears stay ****ed, and it could become infectious.  Then the only option is ear amputation.

Got the same thing going on...lol been going on /off for about 4 months now.

assuming allergies...I'm pretty prone to sinus infections, but this years been really bad.

whats odd is i dont have allergies... or never have. my nose is pretty clear too.

i did do major cleaning the other day, and wonder if i kicked up some nasty mold or something.

I had this problem and went to the er to get it cleared prior to my air flight home. The doctor used a syringe with warm water and hydrogen paroxide. He flushed that ear out with the syringe pressure. A large bullet shape wax ball that looked like a 9 mm bullet flushed out of my ear cannal. It tickled my brain while he flushed it. Weired sensation.

Hydrogen peroxide - lie on side, pour in ear, wait till fizzing and popping subside, excavate ear wax with bud, roll wax into small balls, flick balls at siblings, cat g/f.

Hi JB,

Your problem is caused by a clogged Eustachian tube. Take the max dosage of something with Pseudoephedrine in it for about 3 days and it should clear. I use Sudafed Sinus personally.
