If the 109s are being redone, I'd REALLY love it if people might consider doing more G-2 skins. It's only got 2 custom skins, and 1 is nearly identical to the default.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy flying finnish colors once in a while, but I need variety!!!


We need some LW skins for a.. well let's face it, a LW plane.

EDIT: Also, there were many G-2s in Africa, too! But we have no desert skins for them, only for the F-4 (and we have 2 for that one, I think)

Krusty... while I personally wount ever skin a german plane I really do agree that we need more skins on the planes we have  few and less on the ones we have many on...

So go go go and they are good looking skins as well.. though lets make sure the cow skin is kept the day the 109s get remade.. ;)

how come NO ONE makes 109G-2 skins?

"Mirror" Issues?

Does it kill the Finnish novelty?

IK3, that's my question exactly!!

I, for one, WANT more G-2 skins!

I'd love to see some similar to all the F-4 skins (G-2 was around right about the same time as F-4).

But what do we get? Default finnish skin. Custom Finnish skin (nearly identical to default?!) and an all-green I-don't-know-the-country skin!

Where are all the LW skins? It was predominantly a LW plane! (aside from all the exports).

the all green skin is  a romanian skin they  were  an allie  to the germans and were flown with great  skill

There are about 8 just because u don't see them on ah-skins.com

Skychimp, I'm talking about inside AH. I have the latest skins packs, have been updating every time a new one comes out, and when I go offline I see only 3 total for the 109G-2 (and one of those 3 is the default!)

Krusty try going to the train aera online then looking at skins  and it wqill show u more i noticed with mine  ofline it doesnt show all the skins,there are 2 desert  g2 and 2 romanian g2  and  the defult and another i think

EDIT: I re-downloaded the 180MB skin pack (the same one I already had) and re-ran it. Oddly I didn't have to repopulate my cache. Went offline and they showed up.

The issue still remains. Currently the only skin that resembles a LW skin is a Croation (yellow cross??) skin. The desert skin is LW but it's a special circumstance (desert tan wasn't the standard LW paint scheme). And no, the cow skin doesn't count as LW! :P

So out of those 5 or so skins we only have 1 that even resembles a LW skin (and that one is Croation!!).

We still need more.

I wouldn't mind trying my hand at that 1/32 model's paint scheme (sandgelb with olivgrun and lichtblau). That one looked original enough.

Then as an alternate to the plain sandgelb African scheme, you can do the one with olivgrun squiggles all over it (similar to the me262 and ju88 skin squiggles, I have no idea of the name of this paint pattern, it's not mottling)

does anyone have a 110g2 with a bee on the nose

The wasp was only on a 109E-7, if I recall. There are some odd 109G-6s with eyeballs and lips and stuff and some have shooting stars over the 13mm feed chute bulges. However I don't think any of them have the wasp on the nose. There were some 110s, though!

This is 3jg53 skin i had been working on but gave up when one hard drive went  loopy ,i managed to salavage the files and  did some more too it,trouble is not knowing when the 109s will be redone as to weather to finish it and send it in(http://[img]http://www.onpoi.net/ah/pics/users/610_1119121978_109dsert.jpg)[/IMG]
do you guys think its worth finishing?
