lol side view is so ugly, its ok viewing it from front though.
Maybe its safer, but i dont wanna see this things on F1 Race cars ;) *shudder*

yep.. seen that in Hot Rod magazine.

Have you read it lately?  It is really entertaining these days.  The new editor is a lot more fun.

I've never understood why they don't fill the tyres with that foam stuff that desert racing vehicles use.

Methinks that the Tweel will have some significant legislative roadblocks to overcome once law-enforcement realizes that it makes spike sticks useless...

BTW - I agree, them's ugly. They remind me of pram wheels more than anything.

You can already buy tires which won't collapse if pressure is lost and you can merrily keep driving.
Heh my friend is having a 4WD truck where compressor and airtanks are enough to keep tires full of air even with few ~8mm/ .30 holes in sides... :D

btw it has also armour plates you can pull up from cockpit to cover radiator... :aok
