Post by: SixWhiskey on June 09, 2005, 03:59:37 PM
I was landing a B26 last night and noticed there was a bit of a crosswind.  (I was drifting after lineup).  I managed to slip in OK, but was wondering how you can get info on wind at the airfield.  I turned on "wind" on the map, but didn't see anything useful.

There is no wind, at present in the MA.

A few reasons that you could drift Would be maybe wings not level.
Not exactly lined up (easy to do, very hard to do precisely)

Also if you get parts of your plane shot off it might not go straight, specially rudder flap or engine.
