the storm has claimed it's first South Florida tourist. a young lady decided to go wading in the riptides early this morning, an off duty lifeguard jumped in clothes and all to rescue her after a large wave pounded her and pulled her out to sea. she was whisked off to Jackson Memorial Hospital while attempts to resusitate her were being carried out.
landlocked types should be more cautious around big surf conditions. it's really no place to lollygaging about.
