...just arrived in the mail.
Fighter Tactics: Combat and Maneuvering by Robert Shaw.
heeheeheeheehee!
Ya'll better watch out now!
In all seriousness, appears to be a very detailed, readable, and concise work.
Which of you has a copy of it and what do you think of it and how how much has it helped you?
Regards, Shuckins

Take it chapter by chapter, film each of your flights and practice the tactics described and shown in the book.
It has helped me alot, and it continues to do so. At times, I'll review certain parts of the book to keep the info fresh in my mind.
Don't try and read it cover to cover and expect to gain much from it, it isn't designed for the layman to do that.

Take it to the CON and if he makes it he'll prolly sign it for ya.

Before I read Fighter Tactics, I didn't know the mistakes I was making in aerial combat.
After reading Fighter Tactics, I know the mistakes I make in aerial combat.
Such a relief -- I hate to die stupid.

Awesome, timeless book. Almost all the ACM can be applied to any era of fighters. Very well written and easy to follow. Enjoy!
