WHO SHOULD BE NEXT FOR RESTORATION?
1. Spitfires 1-14 and Hurricanes
2. 109s E to G?
3. Lavochkins and Yaks?
4. Ugly bellybutton blue jays? (F4Us/F6Fs/F4Fs)
5. A6Ms?

109s shouldn't be near the top of that list.
The next planes should be whichever need it for TOD.
I'd like the 152 to be redone.

nah, TK is right, the 109s need to be done for TOD. The 1st setup is 8th AF v LW, it's only logical to have the 109s done asap. After the 109s are done and TOD is underway then HTC will have to decide to which theatre is next and redoing the relevent a/c.
My worst fear would be changing to a theatre without the RAF. I'm not particularly interested in setups without the RAF but i can understand if HTC switches their attention to the pacific to make TOD more diverse.
I will be flying the LW when TOD is released.:D

The 109s were just redone.
Besides the texture reformat to AH2 std's, I don't see the point in adding just a few polygons to put them on-par with the usual uptrend in model accuracy... it'd be something like a barely rounder engine housing, antenna wires, small stuff like that.
TrueKill, following your logic, every other plane taking part in TOD's first theater that's not been updated since the last 109 update should have priority. Nevermind those that, as you say, were also used thru-out the war.
Those that were used throughout the war but aren't part of the first TOD theatre will have to wait.
Look at the Spits, or, TOD considerations aside, the La5. It's like someone took a piece of wood and carved a few dozen faces off.

I'm with Onions on this one, the instruments in most planes are too hard to make out. Realism is nice but funcionality is better :D

I would think the planes which haven't seen any updates since AH was in Beta would need it the most--stuff like the B-17, C-47, F4U-1D and the like. Doesn't matter which nationality they are so much as which models are the most smurfy.

P-38 is beautiful the way it is. Would you change the Mona Lisa? Rebuild the Eiffel Tower?
Instead of doing particular planes, maybe HT should do it by country plane sets. The Russkies are in line to get their POS planes redone.

After what happened to the 190's, I would suggest that you not be to enthusiastic about wanting your favorite airplane to be next on the list.
You may have a prettier ride, but you may not like it as much. :(
I’d rather have the old A8 any day.
In fact, I like the new 190's so much, that I am flying PonyD's and Seafires this tour.

aye, ive been turned off those 190s too... i miss the standard EASY TO READ guages. I use high res monitor and its hard, i dred to think what it looks like on a 800x600 res.

Are the guages really that hard to read, or is it just because bad eyesight?
If its the latter, then frankly, I must point out nothing can really be done about. Maybe get better glasses... or eye surgery or something.
It just so happens the 190 and the Ki84 are both my favorites nowadays, and really I have absolutely no trouble with the guages at all. I don't even run the game at max resolution, nor use AA. I am pretty sure a normal person with normal level of eyesight would have no trouble reading it at all. I don't think we can really expect AH to tend to geriatric needs...you know...

Seems to me if it's ToD based it would have to be the B17 next to catch up to the B24.
The 109s look great already
I'd think the Spits, at least the V and IX might be close too as they'd be covering the 17s and 24s as escorts into France as well.

109s will be next followed by US bombers and then 110s...
Remake is for the first ToD set which will be 8th AF vs LW. It will be the bomber raids over germany so all US fighters and bombers involved will be redone and german fighters. German bombers are most likely not on the prio list as LW doesnt bomb in that campaign. 110s will be on the list as they iirc where used for bomber interception.
