Until Syd Barrett joins them, it will never be a real Pink Floyd reunion.

Poor Syd... too flamboyant for his own good. The last I heard, he "lives quietly" in the Cambridge area, with his mother. After his life fell apart, he made the journey from London by WALKING to Cambridge. (It's about 70 miles)  Dave Gilmour is a somewhat portly gentleman these days. If they do produce another album, I hope it's going to be better than that Division Bell POS.

Oh, I don't know about that. The band's music changed significantly after Gilmour joined and Barrett dropped out, and coincidentally their glory years (in terms of popularity) came "after". The argument could be made that the limeup that's re-assembling now is the most relevant.

I like the music both "before" and "after", but I do find myself choosing to play the "after" more than the "before".

Every great thing PF did was after he left. I mean, he left in 1968.

Heard it on the radio the other day. I had about 5 friends to call and see if they had heard.
