Morph takes a shot at nme running otd. pings 'em up a bit. enemy out running morph. eyebeam dives in w/ ton's of E, shoots tail off runnin' nme. as morph flys by now tailess floppin' nme, he briefly fires at it. morph gets assist, eyebeam gets kill. eyebeam flips out on range vox.

(EDIT:far more interesting was the BK's squad text.)

I took a 110 too, but I just couldn't resist the desire to kill planes with it. I don't think I ever did get around to shooting toolsheds at A24 that night. I'm a horrible ground pounder.

and Lev is always like that on squad channel, he always tries to get us to pork bases so he can vulch and improve his score. we go and shoot all the enemies down so he can vulch in his 110.

Sadly the ++Blue Knight Base Capture Team++ never did convein over the base with bombs ready and troops in tow.

I think EYEbeam and his words over vox that followed shortly after I stole "his kill" was enough to keep us all entertained long enough to find a new fight.

I am glad he came to my rescue though. If it weren't for his valiant bravery I might never had made it out alive.

Pretty much. The rationale for wanting to capture the base wasn't to punish or kill a fight; it was to improve the odds of finding one in the first place. A24 was the gateway to numerous enemy bases about a sector away from it to the northwest and southwest. Unfortunately, A24 was the only enemy base within one sector of our base, so if there was nothing going on there, then there was nothing going on for at least two sectors. Ugh.

Happily, Bishops rose to the occasion and provided some base defense. We wound up not having to worry about A24 at all.
