Alright, I'm flying in a Jug, about 15K, lokking for trouble, when I spot a low Niki. "Yummy." I say to myself as I roll over and dive on it. I know the Jugs diving capabilities, and I close fast. He spots me at about 900, and goes vertical. "Hell." I say as I pass under him at 550 mph. I planned to extend to come back when I look back. Here comes that Niki, closing fast! "WTF? How can a Niki catch a 550 mph Jug?" I couldn't do anything. He fired, blew my wing off, and I became a 600 mph screaming lawn dart.

How the hell is this possible. He reversed and matched my speed in less than 5 sec from his vertical move?????

Did you continue straight and level after the merge? Did he come from your level 12 or higher than you?

Well, I understood from the post that the Nik was lower than the Jug hblair.

As for a second Nik in the area, well any Nik that can hold together in a 550mph dive can't be all bad  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

It has happened a couple of times yes, not when I was in 550 though, was around 450-500.
Nikis capebilities to gain/keep energy is amazing, I still belive the Japanese got help from little green men when they built it  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

when u got the chance fight em most nik pilots are screwups who depend all on their machine  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)the jug can outroll it easily

downside: u got mostly one chance
