Title: Looking for a LW squad
Post by: 33Vortex on June 13, 2005, 02:10:10 PM
Yep, it's me and I'm a loose cannon again. Looking for a squad to join that fly LW planes. I spend 95% of my time in AH flying 190s, the remaining 5% is distributed on 109, P51, the occasional other plane (CV) and GVs.

Have been flying Knights for a long time now, but don't really care which country I fly for as long as I'm with a good squad.

I flew with Vortex and I just want to say that any squad that picks him up will be very lucky, Vortex is the finest Dora pilot I have ever seen.

Good Luck Vortex :aok

Well, supposing you don't mind working with a small squad, you're always welcome to come wing with JG2 - we'll fly some 190 runs with ya.

Thanks JB73, I'm on CET (GMT +1) so my hours online is probably different from yours. Most of JBs members are from the states right? As is the case with most squads if I'm not mistaken? Not a big issue though, since I'm on most any time of the day I work 3rd shifts and sometimes don't come home until 5 am.

As for being the best Dora pilot, naturally I'm not, I'm good but don't think I'm the best. Thx BBQ for the compliment though. However I believe a tactician is always superior to a turnfighter, the turnfighter know little else than furballing while the tactician know that positioning prior to the fight is more than half the fight. Put yourself in a good position to attack and you've won already, dictating the terms of the fight.

Anyway, I'll be happy to taka a whirl with a JB wing anytime.

yeah we are i think currently all US... we have had europeans before GScholz for one....

mostly we (meaning myself JB42 and few other "regulars" get on after 8-9PM central time (i think  thats GMT +6 ??) i always forget how to figure that stuff out LOL

we always fly friday squad ops, which rolls 10PM central time, and then usually can be found flying until 3AM or later.

as far as time translation goes, if you can figure this out., it is 5PM here right now LOL
