Poor dog tho, those things can just explode sometimes. It would have taken that dogs head off if it was a bad stick.

Classic stall of a plane, everything was looking good until that nose came up.

Post by: eagl on June 17, 2005, 05:27:33 PM: The B-24 one looks like either an RF interference "hit" or a receiver failure. It looks like the ailerons streamline and the elevator goes abruptly to slightly lower than neutral. That's what you'd expect a digital receiver to do when it gets confused or loses the signal, return to it's trimmed center positions. If the receiver simply lost power, you'd expect the servos to twitch to a random position or freeze, in which case the plane would have continued to roll into the turn.

The dog vid was awesome. Reminds me of my elite quake skills, as I inevitably get killed while holding only a grenade launcher and become "Mr. Popular" for the remainder of the game. Sorta like that dog :)

That B-24 looks like me whenever I grab a bomber! Happens all too often with model warbirds. Nose goes up, Plane comes down! (ahem....not that I have ever done that with any of my models....ahem)

As for the dog, thats just funny stuff there! LOL:lol

1. That helicopter guy was obviously a newbie..never had it under control. :D

2. The B24 shows the true joy of R/C. Spend 100's (maybe 1000's) of hours building and have it end up a wienie roast after 17 seconds of flight..... I feel for the guy.

Yes, they can. Some of the new servos can move faster than you can move your fingers on the sticks, so it's all up to the heli pilot to do the rest.
