Title: Wohoo!
Post by: Nilsen on June 16, 2005, 04:33:07 AM
finally!

For the first time this year i get a full five days off from work (including weekend) without having to be available on the phone or email :) I dont work very hard at all (thats why i can spend so much time here) but having to be available every day.. all day is "stressful" enough in the long run.

Heading down to my dads summerhouse with the missus and Mia for some well deserved R&R and housepainting and whatever he needs help with.

Anywho.. he sais there is WIFI internet service there so maybe ill still drop by to bother yall, but if i dont sign in until wednesday i have not crashed the boat or gotten lost in some pub.

six hours to go... sweeet

Leave a webcam looking out to see at home & check it out every 20 minutes or so :)

2 days now... starting a new job on monday, so... all my vacation plans go down the drain. Been like that for almost 7 years now... I wonder why I haven't had a meltdown here yet

The idea of the webcam was that you could watch the sea and not blow a gasket(sp?) :D

<-- IT mercenary.

$/€ comes 1st... I'll have plenty time to rest when I'm old(er) or dead :)

I don't drink.

Beeing a drunk is an unfair label i have been given by the evil-doers of this community.

I am innocent damnit!

Nilsen, get a pair of underwater goggles and fill them with sea water, that way when u walk in the woods it'll be like your snorkeling. :aok

Have a good vacation .

rofl! airbumba :D

and thx .

Looks like we have finnaly found the best places for the access points.

The trouble is that there is a costal artillery base next to the little portside village the summerhouse is in. It has a radarstation and other electronics that causes some disturbances. Causing some problems for the ISP providers choise in positioning. They wont tell us (doh) what frequencies the equipment is working on, but i have some ideas based on the stuff we had on our boat.

problems are there to be solved tho, and thanks to the incompetence of the ISP provider even I could make myself useful and have secured me and my dad free internet access here for a long time. :)

and bill clinton doesn't chase fat interns for BJ's ; )

seriously, did they get the engine replaced?

what was the total damage cost?

I have no problem with drinking and driving engine powered boats even if i know its not smart.

However... sailing is a completly different thing. No alcohol allowed.. period.

how much did it cost?

about 700$ and a dented ego

I was prolly pretty frustrated. i thought for awhile that i had to replace the entire outboard, but most could be saved... only the part that sticks below the water (dunno what you call it), the driveshaft and propeller had to be changed.

omc ROFL :D

I have been a boyscout (should prolly keep that a secret around these parts). Closest ive ever been to a tree without throwing it in the fireplace. Not that I hate trees by any means, but when there are to many it gets kinda crowded (forrest?). i also have a habbit of strafing them when I zooooom down the slopes so that prolly counts as a close encounter. :)
