I'd love to see the possibility of a special arena geared to Korean Conflict, also.  It wouldn't hurt to give it a trial run and see if there is interest.

I think this needs to be looked at guys.Every one I talk to says they would love a Korea planeset.
And please dont tell me about target Korea because the sight sucks.
High tech has a better engine and staff to do this with and I think it would bring in new business as well.:aok

I think a Korean arena would be great. Be nice to slip back into a MiG 15, to slam a few F-86's

It would be an interesting thought.  Consider the early jets to go along with the Sabre and Mig 15.  Banshees and Panthers, Meteors and F80 and 84s.

Then you'd have the top of the line piston engined birds with Sea Fury's, Mustangs, F4Us, LA7s and 9s, a Yak or 2, IL10s, Skyraiders, A26s.

Hmmm, not real different from the late war MA we have now :)

IT was always fun in the old AW days to pop into the Korean arena for a bit of fun now and then.

The Korean scenario was fun too.  Getting Mig's to auger diving on my Fighter Bomber F-51D made for a good laugh :)

I think you mean http://tk.targetware.net/ (http://tk.targetware.net/)

Hold your breath, it's almost ready.

On second thought, build a time machine, travel back in time, go to flight school, and actually fight in the Korean conflict, that would be quicker.

Bah... it's not any fun if everybody as it is takes the best uber rides and just face-shoots and runs. In jets with larger caliber guns (23/30mm for MiGs) and with afterburner it would just be retarded. No wait.. that sorta describes most fights now! So essentially, we already HAVE it! Problem solved, now fill the planeset gaps we got before working on an entirely different war, arena, planeset, and flight engine (missiles, radar, homing, targetting, no thanks I'll fly Hornet 3.0 if I want that)

Hmm.  While I see what you are thinking, I don't see that the name "Aces High" equals WWII only.

Even Air Warrior (a seemingly WWII flight sim) had a Korean arena late in it's life.  Early on it even had a WWI arena.

Now the WWI arena was a TOTAL hoot.  Bi-plane that turned on a dime and had puny guns.  Loopy fights would be a tame description to what happened there!

Why can't "Aces High" be some besides WWI?

No missiles, similar radar tech to what was in WW2, and no afterburners on the Saber or the MiG. Only early MiG I've seen with a burner was a MiG-17, and it was modified by the guy restoring it with that capability.

Darn shame we can't fly the Mig and Sabre at HighTech Creations given the quality of the  graphics and terrains available.

Count me IN!

Many people fondly remember the Air Warrior Korea arena in it's heyday.  An AH version would kick even MORE A@@....

If HTC doesn't want to have a Korean Arena...they were sick the day they taught marketing at marketing school.

I would very much rather see a WWI arena.
But I doubt either is ever gonna happen so its pretty much moot

Well, with the time it currently takes htc to introduce a new aircraft, it would be like 4 years before korea arena has enough aircraft worth flying in it.

Actually i would prefer some gap closers in the WW2 set before they make korea planes. Better do one thing right than 10 things partially.
