OK, who wants to bet these two guys get off with a "Martha Stewart Sentence"?

Anyone think they'll get anywhere near 15-30?

Oh, you mean the conviction/sentence? Well, of course. Every now and there there must be a sacrifice to the scapegoat ghod. She was it for this round. Hmmmmm maybe the scapegoat ghod prefers virgins? Seems like volcano ghods do.

What'd you want the government to do? Go catch crooks like the Enron guys or something? Sheesh.

Anyway, I was referring to her sentence as a "stand alone". Will the Tyco pair get a "white collar" prison and a short stay?

(I'm not considering the chance that they'll run off to some independent non-extradition island Tyco owns. That could happen too.)

I just have this feeling that crooks a magnitude of orders above Martha are going to get about the same sentence.

We'll see.

What makes you cynical about it, Toad?   Why would the judge let them off with a light sentence?

btw, do they have to pay back any of the 600 million they were guilty of looting?
