lol. Your a little behind the times. JHMCS has been in operation with a few units for some time now. Hence the January 14th 2002 article. I was working the system during the test phases here at the flight test center.

JHMCS should extend the lives of the F-15 and 16s.
I beleive there are 130 of them installed in eagles and falcons. I think the hornet fleet will get this system next year.
Btw did the navby already replaced the F-14? I understand if economics is the reason but it's the "coolest" weapons system ever developed/used by the Navy.

Some F-15s have already been extended out to 2025. Why would you be posting how many aircraft are capable of a particular system? Was there an official press release on that info?
FOUO comes to mind.
