My aviation medical examiner gave me the okee dokee to get back in the air. WOOOOT!
Going back to work on the 1st of next month, so my time in game is gonna take a drastic drop for the summer.
Have a fun summer folks, I know I'm going to!
Cheers,

You gotta come back in with tassle fuzz all over the brakes and tires. ;)
-
Well, it'll be a helicopter, so will tassle fuzz on the skids do?
RTR
-
Only if it's on the very front of the skid.... hovering over corn don't count 'less you're making AlIeN crop circles!
-
I got $5.00 for ya if you make that crop circle while inverted in that chopper. :aok
-
Congrats!
I'm looking for the same thing in mid-July. Been grounded for a year, and it sucks.
-
Yep eagl, it does suck, big time.
Glad to be getting back to work ;)
Grounded for a year? That really sucks. What happened? (if its okay to ask).
Hope it turns out good for you in July!

Was kind of dumb actually. I slipped on some ice at an airport and snapped both bones in my lower r/h leg. Steel plate, 9 screws and 3.5 months later, I'm fit to fly.
Longest 3 months of my entire life. I won't be running any marathons anytime soon, but I am serviceable.
Slimm, flying is the work (although somedays I think I would almost pay them to let me do what I do. hehe)
Cheers,

"Flying is the work." Cool:cool:

I had a little vision issue. It hasn't recurred so I should get cleared next month.
-
Couldn't see working for those guys any more?
J/K... that was the big joke when everyone was bailing out in the late '70's.
-
Funny ;)
Naw, I saw dollars and signed up for 20 years, then knocked myself out beating my head against the wall for getting greedy.
That's a good story. I should write it down.

you need to be physically fit to fly? what about all them 400lb + folks i see on planes? this isnt fair.
-
Physically fit? Nah, not hardly.
Ya just gotta be able to see past the end of yer nose, have a ticker that ticks, and some form of serviceable appendages that add up to five (four if yer one'a them fixed wing driver types).
For us helicopter types it helps to be a hunchback and have one arm considerably longer than the other too.
I mean, come on. I'm a wreck and they let me fly!
(Thanks Happy!)
