I Have a chance to get ether a X800 XL or a 6800 GT, which one would work best with AH

Either one.  They both work good.  I'd lean towards the 6800, but thats just because I'm partial to Nvidia.  Both cards have plenty of fans.

That is a toss up , it would come down to price imho ......38

Get the one with the best price. Although I would lean with the Nvidea if the price was even.
