Post by: rpm on June 25, 2005, 12:09:02 AM: 5 minutes is pretty short. I tried to add a couple links to one of my posts, but no go. It took me 10 minutes to find the pages I wanted to reference. Mebbe add a little more time for the slow of surf like myself?

The assumption was wrong.

An error occurred which caused the edit expiration time to be borked. I could not remember what the initial time was, so I guessed. Nothing more, nothing less.

This group is starting to remind me of the guy running around in circles screaming his hair is on fire when someone three blocks away lights a match.

EDIT: That may be a little too much of a stretch. How about the guy that runs and jumps off the cliff before asking if there is a safety net waiting?

Quite right. Actually I am working on some furniture for the house, but I have to come in a cool off a bit due to the heat.

Sounds like a classic case of "out of the fry pan and into the fire" to me LOL

Simple solution to me would seem to be to put the edit thing back the way it was and make editing a MP's edit and instant bannable offence. Then enforce it.
