i was getting a bit bored today, not much going on :( i suddenly had a great idea. could we have a capture the flag scenario constantly running in the SEA inbetween events. u know, something silly, but fun. something with a real objective, not just, take base x. itd be fun i think to have a CTF event running, with any vehicle of choice. itd be funny to see the tortoise and hare moments between m8's and tigers :lol

i dunno, maybe ive just gone a little crazy, but i think itd be cool. id like to see an alternative to MA, CT and DA, with something slightly waccy :)

You could have a small map and do Regicide.  2 countrys, 6 bases or so, 1 x B17 per team and however many fighters.  B17 = king, first to kill the opponents king wins.  Task for the fighters is to protect the b17 while hunting down the opponents 17.

yeah, something silly and fun like that. itd be a great alternative to ma gmaeplay if ure getting a bit fed up :)

We had a fun little diversion at Air Warrior for a while - the "Air Galleons" arena. Nothing available but B17s. Load the gunners up and dogfight.

"Har, matey, fire a broadside!"

It was good silly fun :)

yeah, this is what i mean, something really stupid, and not at all to do with ww2, but really fun. i wish we could have more than just 1 gunner :(.

does anyone not agree that something like this would be fun?

Poo,

I would think what your suggesting would be great fun.     I was not around for the AW days so I missed out on what AH players now call deathstars.    Sounds like alot of fun to me.

i also had another idea last night, but its not as good, and would take work. i thought it would be cool if we had a 'destroy parts' tool, exactly like the destroy objects tool, just for damaging certain areas of your plane. itd make for great handycapped dogfights, and good training for engine/ wing damage flying. definitely work, and probably not worth it, but i thought it would be cool:)

Would like to try that, fighters sent out to find opposing B17, some stay to escort their own, kinda fun.

yep furby's idea was probably better tham mine :)
id love to see a british bulldog game too, tanks on either side trying to get across. we could have a little arena with walls and lines on the floor. or wait, no way!!!! i just had the BEST idea. lets have a tank football championship (soccer). that'd be SOOOO cool. five a side footy championships :lol
