The Navy ofThe People's Republic of America
doesn't fly the seaspite anymore ...ugly little underpowered POS!
-
Australia, New Zealand and Egypt does.
Are you sure ther isnt a squadron in the USN that still uses them?
-
Up until a few years ago there were a few reserve squadrons that flew em and embarked on the Perry Class FFG's that didn't have Seahawk capabilities, but now I'm almost 100% sure that they have all been taken out og service. The SH-2G however was the best version with 2 engices vice one.
Edit: The last two squadrons were HSL-94 and HSL-84 both out of NAS Willow Grove, PA. They were decomissioned in 2001.
-
Yup... just reserarched it myself. Final reserve squadron dumped them in 2001. It was a squad that used the Magic Latnern MCM system.
