Title: (Charcoal) Lighter Fluid
Post by: SOB on June 25, 2005, 08:50:24 PM: I had my AC on, with the vent closed (so it just recirculates inside air), but the vent is just a small plastic plug, so it still pulls a little outside air in anyhow. A few minutes ago, I started smelling charcoal lighter fluid. Now my apartment reeks of it. So I opened up my back sliding door, only to find that the outdoors now reeks of lighter fluid too...more than my apartment. The next door neighbor lady is grilling on her tiny weber mini-kettle, and apprently felt it appropriate to use a whole bottle of lighter fluid (I can only assume that's how much she used, based on the overpowering odor).

Oh man, now I'm having trouble breathing. Must. Remain. Conciou.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. OK, that last part was a slight exaggeration, but DAAAAMN! I don't envy the people who are eating what she's gonna be cooking.

But seriously.... I did buy a BBQ unit a few weeks ago. I'm getting half decent at it. And by that I mean I don't have to force the food down with tons of water anymore.
