****A Hot Day on Cactus****
After a brutal shelling during the night, The men on
cactus woke up to hear that 11 troop transports were
steaming down the slot covered by a large force of
Zero fighters. The American force that scrambled from
cactus consisted of 14 Wildcats and 10 Army fighters.
They would need them all. Carrier aircraft from the
Enterprise would launch and help cactus aircraft keep
the transports at bay. At the end of the day, seven
Japanese transports lay at the bottom of the ocean.
In this Snap Shot the Cactus Air Force will engage the
Japanese convoy escort.

This is shaping up to be a great event. I hope we get a good turn out for it. If you have never flown in a snapshot, do yourself a favor and show up, as they are one of MY favorite aspects of Aces High. Makes for a great break from the Main Arena.

Hmm its 234pm right now and i live on west coast. So looks like about 4 and half more hours to go! Cant wait!
