Title: A letter from the cockpit
Post by: Chairboy on June 29, 2005, 03:11:18 PM
A fascinating insight into the trials and tribulations of a British pilot in WWII.  Indeed, the simulator we fly here is more realistic then I thought.

Wow I love these first hand anecdotes of history. I wish that brave gentleman all the best wherever he is in his own blue square universe.

Something tells me that this gentleman's Spitfire was one of the rare, Intel-powered versions.

I have both of them as well. Always good for a laugh and frequently very true as well.

It's slightly more subtle than that.  Well, not really, but it was funny to read.  Think more along the lines of "simulator pilot with a flair for writing".
