This is a quite famous profile of a Fw190A-8, piloted by one Willi Maximowitz, IV./JG3 "Udet". Some people might recognize it at a glance.
While the various profile pics of this plane agree on the basic features, there are some differences between sources concerning colors of the spinner or the markings - thus, I've chosen one that look prettier.
The IV./JG3 were entrusted with the task of intercepting American bombers directly. Such 190A-8s configured for this task were called "Sturmbock(battering ram)", and Gruppes assigned with the task were known as "Sturmgruppe".
The skin was upgraded to suit the new Fw190A model.. and I've tried some new skinning methods on it, so I hope it's an improvement in quality compared to the old skins.
The skinning work is 90% done, with only the final task of paint-chipping left. All the rest of details are put in.
ps)
If anyone has a portrait/picture of Willi Maximowitz, please let me know.

Hey Kweassa Ill trade you a A8 temple for a F8.

"Sturmbock" or "Rammjäger" is the
correct term for this unit type
Their FW190A8 were modified with
armor called "Sturmstaffelpanzerung"
and named Fw190A8/R7 or /R8
They were the german Kamikaze who
swear to shoot down at least 1 allied
bomber or ram one if no ammo left.
