my friend, amanda broke up with her boyfriend about two weeks ago. at first i thought it was because he was too needy but today i realised it was because he did something that she will not talk about. only 4 people know what he did and 3 of them now want to kill him (the one that dont want him dead is him). he has been text messaging her about 7 times a day; these range from "i cant live without you" to "you filthy potato, you left me for someone else." i have no idea what he did, but for the first time in my life i told someone "remember, if you kill him, he wont learn nothin" and ment it.

Higly disturbing SMIDSY.
On so many levels.
-edit- i may get slapped for this , but maybe you should rethink your use of words.
-
What's highly disturbing? Burroughs had it right when he said 'never get involved in a boy/girl fight'.
There are millions of tiny dramas every day around the world, each of them seems like The Most Important Thing In The World.
Based on the original post, it's waaaaaaaay to early to assume this is anything more 'troubling' then any of those.
10 years ago, my sister's boyfriend cheated on her and broke her heart. I felt that 'something horrible' had happened because she was so distraught, and I 'wanted to kill him' in the sense that any protective brother would. Did that make it 'highly disturbing'?
That's really a term that, in my opinion, should be reserved for:
1. The mass deaths and rapings taking place right now as we speak under Robert Mugabe's forced relocation program.
2. The abducted children that are being sexually abused around the world at this moment WHILE YOU READ THIS.
3. The killer who has not been caught yet that is planning or reliving his last 'catch' right now and planning the next one.
-
Highly disturbing Chairboy.
On so many levels.
Not my idea of a small drama really. Calling someone that over txt messages and not leaving a person alone. And if 3 people say they wanna kill him over what he did then its prolly not a mondane thing he has done either.
-
Smidddy, stay away. Stay very far away.
-
dont worry, i try to avoid conflict. but i am quite sure it is something serious. also, i wont jump to conclusions (give him a whoopin he wont soon forget) untill i find out exaclty what he did.
EDIT:
one of the people that wants to kill him promptly moved to texas to avoid "doing something stupid".

IE.. it is bloody serious
-
Or, IE, people are drama queens.
If it's so bad, why not report it to the cops? Just a thought...
It may sound as if I'm calling shenanigans on the girl, but I'm not. I'm just not a fan of assuming facts not in evidence.
"Something horrible" without even a specific accusation just sounds silly.
-
"I'm just not a fan of assuming facts not in evidence."
so you are not a true beliver of the all mighty o'club? ;)
anywho.. not dissing you, just pointing at that lovley chick on the other side of the fjord skinnydipping.

You do something like what my ex brother in law told me to do about some guy that owed me money once.
:: putting on best nj/ny Italian accent::
"What ya do is invite da guy over for a drink or sumtin, anyway ya get him sitting at a effn table. Then you take a peice of paper and put it on da table and you tell em to turn it over and read it.
when he reaches for da paper you smash his frigen hand with a effen hammer and tell him to pay up or next time it will be in the middle of his effen head."
Who knows, you may even get a couple bucks out of him.
But if your not ready to do that. Then in lovers quarrals I would suggest you stay the hell out of it other wise odds are no matter what he did they will be back together and you end up being the bad guy.
Unless she is your sister.
then revert back to the plan outlined above
-
If you want drama, watch "Law & Order" or "CSI". Steer clear. Sounds like it'll settle down on its own.

she did tell the police, but she says since she has a substatial record that they dont believe her. (not sure about this.)

Quick, Nilsen, get in there and shake some sense into those coppers!
Smidsy, with all due respect, you're getting worked up about an unknown 'something' that an unreliable woman with a history of lying to the police sorta (but not really) says (might have) happened. except she hasn't actually said what happened, so...
-
I am assuming the supposed victim does know how to dial a phone and use 911 on it. If there is REALLY a problem she should take that route and get some professional help for whatever problem happened. other than advising her to do that your best bet is to stay far away and out of the situation.

he must've let it slip in the stinky
only 4 people know what he did and 3 of them now want to kill him (the one that dont want him dead is him).
unless he wants to kill himself!
he has been text messaging her about 7 times a day; these range from "i cant live without you" to "you filthy potato, you left me for someone else." i have no idea what he did, but for the first time in my life i told someone "remember, if you kill him, he wont learn nothin" and ment it.
how do emos kill? are they gonna cry in front of his house until they flood it and drown him?
-
No kidding, spit.
If this were the old O'Club, I'd tel Smidsy to stop spending so much time with his makeup, put down his purse, and go get his nails done or something instead of getting so thoroughly suckered by such an obvious ploy.
But, this is the new o'club, so I will continue to offer the heartfelt suggestion that he reconsider his involvement, emotional and otherwise, with what sounds like the early stages of a constructed drama, custom manufactured by someone with a history of deception.
Something HORRIBLE happened! glaargh!
...
Nope, don't need it.
-
unless this is a subtle troll to reveal to us through satire how the O'Club has changed :)
stupid drama like this used to work only in the Free Multiplayer forum.

Nilsen. Niiiiiiilsen....
I'd love to hear your thoughts regarding the 'she suffers from bouts of perjery' development.
Smidsy, any update?

This is so highschool. What'd he do?

Actually he did what he did and we should quit pressin' our noses up against the glass.
Let this one go to page 2.
IMO, of course.

What's up with youngsters anyway?
They all have sideburns and long-ish hair and they're so mellow and softspoken it makes me sick!!
