Title: good day for music

I hope you fools haven't been missing the AOL feed from Hyde Park...I've just enjoyed hearing The Who, Pink Floyd, and Paul McCartney live, and sounding well for their age.

Paul even played Helter Skelter, my favorite Beatless song :)

I give the nod to Philly. Best overall talent and production.

The best thing was when Geldof was speaking about the first Live Aid - 20 years ago, and he showed this clip that was shown then about the suffering...

A very devastating thing to watch. It faded out on this chick that was basically dead. Prolly 5 years old. I mean, it looked like she just died right there on camera. Skin and bone and fading away. Then she walks out on stage today, some 20 years later... and is just so beautiful and bright.

And Geldof said something like "Don't listen to the cynics."

Amazing day today.
