It'll be maxed out.  Not saying you couldn't run something else at the same time, but AH will take everything else.

Simulators, and in particular flight simulators, are CPU intensive.

The game...any modern 3d game, will run at 100% CPU...that is unless yoiur running a software from 1985.  The rendering software in 3d games is trying to render as many frames as it can.

DirectX is designed to use 100% of your CPU.  If you have a dual core/dual CPU system, then DirectX will show to use 50% of each CPU, but it really is using only one CPU at 100%.
Sort of a bug in the way Windows displays process usage per CPU, especially if the application is threaded or contains thread code (Aces High does).

Just so I know- Judging by your reply Skuzzy, a game or App has to be written to use both CPUs in a dual CPU system correct?

If so, can/will Aces High be updated to utilize a dual CPU system or would it be worth the effort?

There is one caveat -
From speaking to Skuzzy the networking side of AH2 will utilise the other core.
I have tried forcing AH2 onto 1 core, it maxes it out at 100% usage. Allowing it to run on both cores it splits around 50% usage on one, 75% usage on the other.

As Intel and AMD have both decided to move their entire desktop range over to dual/multi cores there is maybe a chance we'll see a multithread AH2.
Be nice in conjuction with AH2 - The 64 bit edition...hint hint :)
