this is a new pc, and i just downloaded some of furballs films, but they arent sowing up right in windows media player. the colours are all weird. i dont know how to fix this

anyone have any ideas? ty in advance

check for media player updates...

check to see if the proper dvix codec's are installed...

check if anything plays wonky...

everything else plays fine in it (i think). i dont know whether its a codec problem or not?? very strange. here's a pic(http://www.thesproge.com/uploads/screenerror.bmp)

I get the same thing on random videos, no idea why but it's a very funky psychadelic colored representation of the video and downloading the newest codecs doesn't help.  Try going to run and type in "mplayer2" and open it in the old media player.  That worked for me a few times, so give it a shot.  Good luck.
