Title: Mr. Bush
Post by: Nilsen on July 06, 2005, 03:48:24 PM
Should take lessons from Lance Armstrong in how to avoid accident when racing his peddle bike.

Today he sent a policeman to hospital after hitting him.

This is not the first time he has fallen over.

No worries tho, he is ok tho.. only minor injuries but he may have lost the chanse at the yellow jersey. Maybe he got confused about what side of the road he was supposed to go on. :D

I read a story today where he said it was lightly raining, the surface was slick, and he was riding the bike hard and fast.

Seems like good example of his personal judgement, or lack thereof.    It ain't like Gerry Ford tumbling down the steps of AF1.

He is imo the best at avoiding them... that does not mean that he never falls. Nobody in history has or will ever manage to always stay on their bike for their entire racing career.

Lance has had more than two.  Maybe Bush can help him cut back his number, too.

Just because you can't understand it doesn't mean Lance can't.  I think Lance is a pretty smart guy.

Nope.

If you can't understand me, though, I'm not the least bit surprised you can't understand Bush.

Over all, it was a good suggestion, though.  Maybe you should write Lance and ask him to ask Bush for instruction.

Don't lose your time using logic with Martlet, Nils, because he has a deep crush on Bush. ;)

Btw, Bush is prolly as competent to race a bicycle than to run a country...

Logic?  He was talking about giving lesson on avoiding accidents.  He said Bush had two, I pointed out Lance has had more.  It stands to reason maybe Bush is better at avoiding accidents.

Maybe you're having the same trouble Nilsen is?

A paddle?  Maybe you should take Bush's class, too.

You don't use paddles in bike racing.

More than a couple. If you ride a mountain bike, it's expected.

nilsen... I may be off base here but I bet you come to lot's of times with bruises that you have no idea where they came from but were undoubtably from accidents much more stupid than either of Bush's bike wrecks...

At least neither of our leaders has crashed a jet fighter jet tho huh?

I'm 100% sure that Armstrong's crashes/miles ridden ratio is much lower than Bush's....
