Title: "In the Zone"

Anyone else ever get "in the zone" while gaming? Take me for example. Tonight I started at the beginning of Homeworld 2 and ended up beating it in the same evening. Not the first time I've played either. Not the first time something like this has happened either. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Note: The "zone" may be where all those lost hours from computer gaming go, such as when you start at 1 PM and stop for dinner only to realize it is now 2 AM.

It happened to me once or twice while playing basketball back in the day (no there were no laces on the ball).

I was no star, but one game I hit 7 shots in a row. Most would have been 3 pointers, but this was before the 19' stripe was added to HS ball.

Here is the funny part. This was the only time this ever happened, but I did it in the second half of the only game that the local college coach saw that year. He asked me at the end of the game to work for him that summer at a sports camp.

So those 7 shots got me a job at Lake Arrowhead, some great times all summer, and 14 points.

Wow...you mean all this time "The Zone" is a mystic place? Hell Ive lived here for years!
